The X Base is second central location in Aperi Oculos. It is a base dug into the side of a mountain. Around it is a forest and an Extreme Hills biome. The base has a main room, a downstairs storage room, a bedroom, an indoor farm, an enchanting room and a mine. The interior of the base resembles the inside of The Mountain Base.
The area around the base was first seen on a map in The Fall, but the area itself wasn't visited nor was the base built until New Location. The area gets its name from an X made up of flaming netherrack that was placed outside prior to The Protagonist's arrival.
